3 things you might want to know this week 30 November 2019

The news is full of the good, the bad, the ugly and the sad.  Here are 3 things you might want to know this week.

  1. Skye’s the limit as suite new accommodation opens in Sydney.  Skye Suites studios, one bedroom and two bedroom suite luxury accommodation recently opened its doors this week.  I particularly love the pool, it would be like being in your own giant float tank.  It’s the first stage in a development that will include a regal rooftop and retail therapy.  Developer Crown Group were also involved in the rejuvenation of the basement placed Skittle Lane.  The Sydney CBD hotel follows after a successful similar luxury Crown Group development in Parramatta.
  2. Daydream Island is set to reopen 19 April 2019, after an extensive, cyclone induced, renovation.  Formerly owned by Vaughan Bullivant of Bullivant vitamin’s fame, the resort, which is the closest island to the Airlie Beach, Whitsundays, mainland, has had many reincarnations.
  3. Mexico has a new president and he starts work this Saturday. Andrés Manuel López Obrador will be the first Mexican President to use the country’s National Palace as his office since 1910.  We wish him well dealing with USA President Donald Trump.
