Problogger training event is finally here tomorrow at 7.30am 329 bloggers and wanna be bloggers will meet at QT Gold Coast for 17 sessions of pure heaven.

When I first saw the event advertised, not unsurprisingly on another blog, I wasn’t sure I should spend the money. It was around $300. I wasn’t sure I knew enough to be going, wasn’t sure I could find someone to mind the kids, wasn’t sure all that information would be too much…. the list went on. So before I could talk myself out of it, I got online registered and paid and decided I would figure the rest out later. I’m so glad I did.

For the next two days I will be learning more about Facebook marketing, blogging for beginners, launch you freelance writing career, designing your blog, monetisation where to start, launching you speaking career. These are just some of the session that us bloggers will be riveted to.

I know no one personally yet I feel like I know quite a few ladies from their facbook persona’s, blogs and tweets. It will be daunting and exciting to walk in knowing no one and exciting to hopefully leave on Saturday having actually meet lots of real life bloggers.

Redcliffe style will be there, so will the organised housewife, who might find With Some Grace and chat with Caz Makepeace while they shoot the breeze and ask ytravelblog when you can be a mojito mother and many, many more.

Top three reasons why am I going to Problogger Training Event: Gold Coast 2013

1. From the research and reading I have done over the last few years, Darren Rowse and his Problogger team are one of the best sources of info and ways to learn.

2. Seize every opportunity you can, you never know where it might lead. I love going to courses and events and this one was nice and close, only a short 1000 or so kilometres from my home!

3. Knowledge is king. The more you know, the more you can do.

See you on the other side, or at least tomorrow!
