16 Sep Top 5 things about Problogger’s 2013 tribe
GC switched on sensational weather as 450 bloggers checked in to listen to 30 speakers at 30 sessions for the fourth annual Problogger training event and what a doozy it was.
Super stylish QT Hotel hosted bloggers from across Australia and around the world. With three concurrent sessions running in each time slot, without a doubt the hardest part of the conference was choosing which sessions to go to. The easiest part was the awesome amount of inspiration, knowledge and courage we took away with us, hopefully enough to last until the next Problogger event.
Sometimes the knowledge infusion was overwhelming and a little exhausting. When we weren’t listening to learn, we were meeting and mingling at deliciously catered breakfast, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas and the Hilton’s poolside party.
I met more people in two days than I have in three house moves over two years!
Don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining I loved it. I was so glad I’d taken the leap of faith to go.
Now what I have to do is to take what suits me and put it into action and I can’t wait!
So here’s five things that I took away with me from Problogger Event 2013 and the blogging tribe who went, just in case you want to join us!
Five things about Bloggers…..
1. Come in all shapes and sizes and blog about everything and nothing you could even begin to imagine.
2. Are some of the most generous, ambitious and entrepreneurial people you will ever meet.
3. Feel the fear but do it anyway
4. Want to share what they know with the world
5. Have a spirit and a vibe that is contagious!
Three years ago now I read the Problogger secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six figure income and now I’ve been to the Problogger event hosted by Darren Rowse, one of the authors. There is no excuse. It will have to be world blog domination next…or at least regular posting and lots of learning and updating to make my blog the best it can be!
